The students of Batch 21 were also given an inside out look at both Life at LLA and Life after LLA in their session with Punya Arora – LLA alumnus, photographer and standup comedian. There were nuggets of wisdom, customary disclaimers, learnings from mishaps and lots more. Watch the video to see what happened!
Here’s what the students had to say about their first day at LLA:
“I feel great today. I feel good especially being in this environment. There’s a lot of positivity about everything and a lot of encouragement. Punya maam’s session gives us a good start, a view for what we should be looking forward to” – Bhoomika Jotwani
The first day was amazing. We got an introduction to the course and the faculty as well. It was nice interacting with everyone. I feel comfortable here. I don’t feel comfortable everywhere. The people are very warm, So if I’m feeling comfortable, it means that something is going right. – Abhishek.M
“The session made me realise that it is okay to try to do a lot of different things. You don’t need to be stuck in a box. It was very welcoming, it was comfortable and peaceful. Tomorrow if I want to do whatever I left doing before I came here, I am free to do that, I won’t be judged. I’m grateful to be here and to be part of this prestigious institution.” – Shravan Kini
“My day went very well, even though I was a bit on edge, because it was my first day. Everybody is very welcoming and it doesn’t even feel like I’m meeting them for the first time.” – Palak Dokania
I got to meet so many people from various places, various states and cities. It feels good to be back in the college set up. It was very exciting getting to meet so many people and getting to know their various perspectives and backgrounds.
Punya’s session was very eye opening, the key learning I took away from her session is that you always learn in life, the learning never stops. Today I’m learning photography, maybe i’ll be using this knowledge in other fields as well. – Saurabh. S S
“I was a bit nervous, but everyone was very nice and I made a few friends as well. I hope to get to know all the people in the batch. I liked the food a lot on the first day! All the sessions were great. Punya’s session was fun. It was inspiring. My main takeaway from the session was that you should always do what you want to do and not hold back.” – Puja Mohanta
