Anushree is a photographer and filmmaker based in India. She shoots a diverse range of subjects for commercial and editorial clients. She is passionate about documentary work, and that reflects in her films for China General Television Network (CGTN) and photographs for National Public Radio (NPR) and Roli Books. She has travelled and worked in various cities and towns in India, covering issues such as climate change and gender inequality. Her commercial work is characterised by her creative use of lighting. In the last few years, she has worked with architects and interior designers to photograph spaces designed by them. Photographing interiors is a unique way to play with composition and lighting to create mood – something that she enjoys.
