Mihir Patilhande, an alumni of LLA (Photojournalism, Batch 17-18), was the recipient of the Trends Excellence Awards for Visual Design. Entitled “The Soul of Auroville” shot using a drone, the image highlights the intricate patterns that come together to create this visually stimulating, spiritual space.
Thrilled with his experience with the project, Mihir had this to say to us: “I am grateful and honored that my work in Aerial Documentation is being deemed worthy for an award! This photograph, to me, is a vignette of what a rural civilization may look like in the future. I hope, with this recognition, I only continue to grow.”
