For over two decades, the Akkas, Annas, and admin staff at LLA have been the quiet backbone of this Institute. They keep every part of the space in order, feed us, care for us, and make sure things run smoothly — all with a generosity that’s hard to put into words. Their presence is felt in every corner of LLA, every single day.
So, as we stepped into our 25th year, we wanted to begin by celebrating them.
On the LLA Anniversary Day(21st March 2025), we got the students to teach the staff members how to use a camera and help them make portraits. With a little guidance — and a lot of enthusiasm — the Akkas and Annas took to the challenge.
What followed was a day filled with laughter, learning and discovery.
The Akkas and Annas composed frames with care, and even challenged the students on angles and poses. Their photographs reflected something uniquely their own — perspectives shaped not by technical training but by observation, emotion, and intuition.
These weren’t just exercises in photography. They were reminders of what it means to learn together, to teach with kindness, and to celebrate each other.
