Becoming better Photographers starts with how we perceive the world. We need to train ourselves to ‘look closer’ at everything happening around us; not just the ones in plain sight.
The Alphabet Assignment tasked the students with doing just that. To look closer and, making use of their compositional skills, identify patterns and alphabets occurring naturally in and around Ooty. Being able to unearth the various layers of ‘seeing’ in order to photograph them is one quality that helps in developing an eye for good photography.
